Rehabilitation Consultant – Return to Work


Brisbane & South East Queensland

We’re looking for clinicians from a range of allied health backgrounds to join a supportive, well established team delivering meaningful rehabilitation and early intervention services across Brisbane and South East Queensland.

This role suits professionals who want variety, autonomy, and the chance to see the real-world impact of their work.


About the Role

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you’ll work closely with clients to help them overcome physical, psychological, and vocational barriers so they can return to meaningful work and daily life. Your caseload will be varied and engaging, allowing you to apply your clinical skills in a practical, outcomes-focused environment.

Your work will include:

  • Supporting clients through early intervention and rehabilitation programs
  • Managing cases and coordinating return-to-work outcomes
  • Completing functional, workplace, and psychosocial assessments
  • Developing tailored rehabilitation and intervention plans
  • Liaising with employers, insurers, and other stakeholders
  • Some regional travel within South East Queensland
  • Flexible working arrangements are available
  • Work related travel is reimbursed


About You

You’re someone who builds rapport easily, thinks practically, and enjoys problem-solving. You’re comfortable managing your own workload and value working as part of a collaborative, supportive team.

This opportunity is open to professionals from a range of allied health backgrounds, including:

  • Occupational Therapy
  • Exercise Physiology
  • Counselling or Psychology
  • Physiotherapy
  • Other relevant allied health disciplines

New graduates are welcome, and experienced clinicians will be given the autonomy to work at the top of their scope.

What You’ll Need

  • Australian Work Rights
  • Strong communication and time-management skills
  • Full registration to work within your profession
  • An interest in rehabilitation, case management, or return-to-work services
  • Access to a car and drivers license
  • Previous experience in occupational rehabilitation is helpful, but not essential
